After receiving Desert Essence products to review, I am becoming a huge fan of the brand, which focuses on organic and natural products. I really like Desert Essense Lip Rescue with Tea Tree Oil because it is natural, healing, and feels great on.

Some of you may be thinking that Tea Tree Oil seems a bit odd in a lip product, and I thought that at first too. If you're not a fan of Tea Tree Oil, you aren't going to like this product. I enjoy using Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Oil Castile Soap as a body wash, so obviously I am not opposed to the heady scent.

Tea Tree Oil has tons of healing and antibacterial properties that are beneficial to the skin. If you would prefer another scent, Lip Rescue also comes in Shea Butter and Jojoba options.

This is great for the winter when regular old balm or gloss isn't cutting it. At less than $3 a tube, you can't go wrong!

Have you tried this or other products by Desert Essence? Let me know!

Did you see tonight's episode of Gossip Girl? We all knew Serena Van Der Woodsen was going to get in trouble with Tripp... it was only a matter of time. Regardless, in real life Blake Lively is living it up in high fashion styles and glamorous events. Blake's recent outfit choice here is turning heads and inspiring bloggers nationwide:

Gossip Girl Blake Lively Plunging Neckline Marchesa

I guess Blake Lively's fashion here is inspired by the underwear-as-outerwear look... only she apparently goes braless. I am in love with the white blazer! If you've got it; flaunt it.

What do you think of this Marchesa outfit worn by Blake Lively at the New York premiere of The Private Lives of Pippa Lee?

Needless to say, I think Blake looks daring, bold, and lovely. Truthfully, it's no more revealing than a plunge neckline on a gown.

Do you think this look is inappropriate or stylish? Let me know!

Taylor Swift looked gorgeous as ever at the 57th Annual BMI Country Awards. Here is my makeup guide on how to look like Taylor Swift for a night out! Pick up any of these essentials for a natural, glowing look.

  • Start with flawless skin, like Taylor's. You can always fake it with foundations like CoverFX!

  • Put on eye shadow base to hold color and prevent creasing. Follow with a sparkling gold and bronze eye shadow duo, like Sephora Brand Colorful Duo Eyeshadow in Duo No. 10, $16.

  • Finish off the eyes with lots of lashes. Taylor is wearing falsies here, but if you don't want to go the extra mile, use a wax mascara like Anastasia Lash Lifting Mascara, $22, a fave of Kim Kardashian. Don't forget to curl your lashes.

  • Next, dust on a soft peach blush such as Physician's Formula Baked Wet/Dry Blush, $11.

  • Last, but not least, finish the look with a light sweep of shiny gloss. A good bargain pick would be Maybelline Lip Polish in Sweet Blush, $6.
What do you think of Taylor Swift's makeup look? Would you wear it?
